Why we created

We started PEIKO® because we saw a need for a better solution for dog owners who struggle with keeping their dogs safe and secure on walks. Traditional leashes can be clunky and restrictive sometimes, which can lead to discomfort.

That's why we created QuickLeash™, a leash that is always within reach and provides a more comfortable experience for both dogs and their owners.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can the cord hold my dog securely?
- Yes, it's a very durable parachute cord and the system is made of really strong and lightweight high-tech materials so it won't break. We are so confident that it won't break or tear under normal use that we offer a 3-year warranty on QuickLeash. Watch our video on the strength of QuickLeash with Kimi the doberman on this page.
What happens if I accidentally drop the handle? Will it go back in place? Can it harm my dog?
- Is it safe for your dog? Yes! It goes back in place, but from the bottom up relatively slowly. We will soon be showing a video with examples of these safety and ease of use ;)
What about the beach? Have you tested the system in salt water and sand?
- It has been tested at the beach, however like any other material (even metal) salt water will corrode it, if the dog is regularly in salt water, sand and/or not cleaned properly the product can be damaged. To avoid damage to the product, we recommend the cleaning method described in the next section.
How do I clean the QuickLeash after my dog has been in salt water (sea, ocean)?
1. Rinse the whole machine thoroughly with fresh water. No need to immerse it in water.
2. Pull the handle to maximum length, press and hold the brake button and wipe the cord dry with a clean cloth.
